37th Ciaspolada

for those who have never heard of "snowshoes"

January 6th I attended the largest Ciaspolada of Italy, starting from three named Piper wakes tricolor with the Plain and Romeno arrival (after 10 km) to the Fund in Valle di Non

we participated in almost 6,000 people, some professionals for competitive, but most Part amateurs.

with snowshoes (a word derived from the dialect Nones) means a snowshoe made to increase the floor area so the "floating". Those are traditional rope and wood, while those in use today are plastic.

a great way to visit new places, to enjoy beautiful natural landscapes, to see them in a different color, the white snow with his blanket that puts to rest any noise, and makes us spend a day out of time in complete separation from the fast and noisy life of every day.
all interspersed with some refreshment (Trentino great organization!) In typical wooden gazebo, with characters that have a warm welcoming mulled wine, delicious biscuits and apples Nones!
arrival, after 2 hours of snowshoeing, could not miss a lunch in a restaurant with typical food lost between the small villages of the Valle di Non
Ciaspolada will be the next "Moonlight" (the night are organized in periods of full moon for obvious reasons) ... it is ciapolade night, very impressive.
they are organized in the summer (!!!), one of the most productive region for tourism organization ... in Romagna! The organizing Ciaspolada Beach!
and then return home with a winter sunset so beautiful and went to hide in the mountains ...
Trivia:
each year makes its way between those who snowshoe in Val di Non a strange man who calls himself "shark"
even if the temperature is closer to that of a freezer that those of a tropical climate, this original snowshoe zipping through people wearing only a swimsuit and written on the back (on bare skin!) his cell phone number in hopes that some girl I am struck ... what to say, the world is great as it is diverse! or damaged?? :-)

"The voices are fleeing," Capossela meeting - Brunello

remember Mastroianni, an actor who I love very much, say in an interview with the verses of a Navajo proverb:

"Everything Remember that you saw, because what you forget to fly back in the wind. "

's so I want to begin this new year .. which is the way ... write my blog and describe the sensidiviaggio of everything I see and live. although past few months. I used primarily to fix our ideas, to reflect, to draw conclusions, to understand who they are .. and who knows if it will be useful for readers to find themselves, to have ideas and alternative points of view ...

want to tell a show that the cultural association which has entered oragnizzato on 11 December last year in Verona, the curious interview with singer-songwriter Vinicio Capossela cellist Mario Brunello.

Vinicius, the most brilliant singer in Italy, inspired, educated and refined.
Mario, cello (the cello is a Maggini of '600!) Of Castelfranco Veneto and of international fame, winner of the Tchaikovsky in Moscow in 1986, Italian String Orchestra founder, likes to engage in projects involving different forms of art (many collaborations with Marco Paolini, Baricco, Moni Ovadia, Gian Maria Testa, Vinicio ...).

Mario talks about his approach to Bach in childhood at Castelfranco Veneto and the answers range of Vinicius with pieces of Bach notes ... sweet, sometimes harsh, full of passion and depth. Remember that the cello is the instrument reaches the notes that are more similar to the human voice. not I never stopped to take this feature because too often you hear the cello as part of an orchestra. there are groups that use it in their music: Evenescence, fado of Madredeus, Rondo Veneziano.
there are many voices who are fleeing, some acute and others (creepy) more severe.
Brunello then tells the fascinating experience of the solo cello concert on Mount Fuji and its participation in "Sounds of the Dolomites", which was also attended ... Vinicio Capossela and here the irony of not long in coming! ! Vinicio simply brilliant!

Diversa and curious knowledge of Bach experienced by Vinicius
in solitude, in motel rooms on Italian highways, listening to Glenn Gould.

Vinicio end of the party abandons the role of the interviewer and says / sings "Blessed of the castaways," the prayer of a sailor who is sinking in his boat, while Brunello with his reply, the Maggini storm, the black sky and the sounds of trees and live wires.

interesting relationship between the two artists who are involved in each other artistic influences: the Italian theaters hannp shot proposing a reinterpretation of some musical renaissance poetry of Michelangelo.

I must say that the verses of songs by Vinicius is a puzzle of history, culture and impressions that you can not just listen .. texts are rich and dense with references and experience, have a location to enter and acquire knowledge.

leave you here a video of a participation of Brunello to a past edition of "Sounds of the Dolomites" which unfortunately I did not participate!
