Ferrara, Estense Castle
with the typical red canvas on the windows, the walls that collect around the old town, the Palazzo dei Diamanti, the Cathedral and the many bicycles (5 € for a day rental) whizzing the streets of the city with one of Italy's largest pedestrian areas.

a beautiful Renaissance city, rich in culture, which has hosted historical rate ..., Copernicus, Ariosto, Mantegna, Titian, George Byron ...
is always a pleasure to breathe the air and enjoy the atmosphere of this city and I could not miss the appointment with "international Ferrara" for years in the program the first weekend of October, a 3-day they meet and discuss the journalists around the world
the program was, as always, very rich and interesting and the city was reached by young (and not) in all of Italy.
meetings that were held as usual at various sites of the old town, and offered the opportunity to visit theaters, palaces and cloisters are not accessible for free in the rest of the year.

the only flaw: the organization.
the influx, as usual, very high. was not expected to offer everyone the opportunity to listen to the conference, especially the most "popular" s that were held at the Teatro Comunale. Apollo was the only film with a giant screen outside. long tails, sometimes double in the hot sun of an October that seemed to open up the summer than autumn. a shame for people who had done hundreds of miles to reach the festival.

why I missed the meeting with Saviano, Sergio Romano, Bill Emmott, Paul Ginsborg and many more .. Interesting
however those who are able to assist:
Saturday, October 3 - cloister S. Paul
BOOKS, MEDIA AND AFRICA. FORGOTTEN CONTINENT IN JOURNALISM AND CHRONICLES
Sunday, October 4 - Apollo cinema
AFRICA. The NETWORK IN AFRICA: THE DEVELOPMENT COMES DALL'WEB
... and for those who want to stay in the center and spend very little, I recommend the hostel Estense
clean, spacious, and served with a garden and bikes are also equipped with a triple to use double.
